It can cost between £120-£150k to take on the world’s toughest row. This essential funding covers everything from purchasing the R45 boat, race fees, safety equipment, communications equipment, solar panels, logistics, food, qualifications, insurance, months of dedicated training and shipping the boat to the start line in La Gomera and back from Antigua.
